Three weeks as this family....

Ah, I love that God led us to adopt!

I am NOT saying everything is easy. Far from the truth, but it is GOOD.

Last week we ordered our new, big table. Yes, we could have ordered it before we traveled to get the kids, but until they were in our arms, I just didn't feel ready to get anything. We also bought another set of bunk beds, although the girls seem to have no problem sharing Zgirl's double bed. I've checked in on them, all snuggled together. Awwww.

Only a few more weeks of cramming around this one:

Speaking of sleeping, they decided they want to sleep with their siblings, and not us anymore. So we usually let them all wind down for half an hour in front of the TV, then it is off to bed. Yes, I used to be quite strict with TV viewing, but I have a feeling these 2 are going to see lots more TV then our other kids did at that age.
They love water, just like our other kids. Awesome!

I finally took out Kume's braids, and this is what it looks like after a deep conditioner and de-frizzer were used. I better get some good braiding books. Of course, I still think she looks adorable!

OH, your family is so beautiful. A big table is the best thing, can't wait for it to arrive! Could those kids, all of them, get cuter? not much!!! So adorable. And Kume's hair is terrific! Braiding is easy, keep trying and you'll get to be expert in her hair really really fast! Smallish sections work well at first, especially to detangle! You're gonna be a pro in no time!!

Great fun pics, so glad it's going really well, sounds like it!!

Your little one looks so much like my Major Cutie in size...really petite! She's adorable! It took me a good 3-4 months to figure out the hair thing but it's finally coming around and I do get comments on how nice it looks! Can't beat that...haven't tried any braids yet!!
Smiles,

Very cute pics of the kids! Until recently, I would put Mariyanna's hair in little puff-balls. Then, 2 weeks ago I took her to get extensions braided into her hair. It only cost $50, which I thought was fair. Now, it looks really cute. I can leave it down, or put it in pigtails, or pony tails, whatever she wants. She is so happy to finally have "long" hair like her siblings (until I took thm and got their hair chopped!!)

There are pics on my blog of her new hair.

Great pictures! Oh, I can;t wait for my turn! :-)
Also, I can't wait to show B your blog when we get home so that she knows that your kiddos are happy and doing well. She looks a bit like the protective little mother in pics with them! :-)
Blessings,
Kristy
