I know, I know, it often doesn't pass the first time, but HOLY COW, this is the FIRST time anything has gone quickly in this whole adoption process so far (besides our instantaneous smittenness with these kids).
How cool is that!!!
This afternoon I was planning to book our spring break trip, because Michiganders start getting a little irksome this time of year, as we continue to snow plow out of driveways. Well, looks like we will postpone the plans, and if our court date gets moved way out, let's hope for some REALLY good last minute deals.
No, this is not Antarctica, but Lake Michigan in March. It IS stunning. In these shots, we are actually about 100 yards out on the lake. Lots of massive ice build up. The kids found some cracks and holes (or death traps) that made it ultra-adventurous, but we just let the dog lead the way. If she were to bite it, well, at least the rest of us would be safe. Don't worry, she's fine.
And to think, in a few months, we will be swimming in this stuff.

THANK YOU JESUS for what you're doing!!!! I've been praying so hard for a miracle with the courts for our little one. My heart has been so sick of all the time we missed with her while she was ill. This gives me hope there could be a miracle yet. Would you join us in praying for that? Thank you!! ~Shelly
OH MY! that is just crazy amazing! Glad something's going fast for someone... please God let us all get through court that day... we could travel together! Hopefully you're right and this means other families will get dates soon too!!!

Okay, your comment on my blog CRACKED ME UP! Being that your are in Michigan and I am in Virginia, I don't think that there will be any chance of fists flying! HA! You may end up flying through Dulles though which is pretty close...hmmmm....Make sure that you scope out sibling groups of three for me while you are picking up your sweeties! :-)

What a great surprise! I will be praying that you pass through the first time with no problems! Also in answer to your question on my blog we are in Linden it is about 20 min. north or Hartland or 25 min south of Flint.
By the way love your nicknames that is one of my all time favorite movies!
What a relief! We are STILL waiting to hear--though they say we should have court the last week of March (or so...).
I saw your comment on my blog about the reimbursements, this one is a county reimbursement. I'll have to take a minute and clarify on the blog too, so many people have emailed me freaking OUT! Check in MI though, it's through children's services here.
